Aruni Madusha Rajapaksa

Aruni Madusha Rajapaksa needs no introduction to the Sri Lankan fashion arena. The super model received her education in Swarnamali Girls College, Kandy. After her G.C E Advanced Level examination in the Arts stream, Aruni joined the Kandy Technical College to do a secretarial Course. In the year 2005 Aruni became the Carpi Queen and though she wanted to contest for Miss Sri Lanka Pageant in the year 2006. Ultimately she was crowned as Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2007 and ReeBonn Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2008.
The tall and slender beauty Aruni, 5 7' in height, a professional model who represented Sri Lanka for Miss Tourism Queen International 2008 which was held in Shanghai, China was able to bring the honour to mother Lanka by winning the two titles 'Miss Friendship' and First Runner-up for 'Oceania Miss Tourism Queen'. 108 countries participated and was categorized into five sections such as Asian, American, Africa, European countries and Islands.


Aruni was one of the first 15 among 66 contestants at the 47th Miss International 2007 Pageant held in Tokyo, Japan. She represent Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2008 beauty pageant was held Crown Convention Center in the Diamond Bay Resort, Nha Trang, Vietnam.
